I've been a bad commish. I've slacked on keeping the financial info up to date the past month. Sorry for that! The info is now up to date. Here it beeee.
Looking ahead to the last week of the season and we only have one team which has clinched a spot in the playoffs. This has got to be the most competitive league I've ever seen. This weekend should be quite the interesting one.

We just had a series of free agent moves. Arragoth just freed up a decent amount of cap space, Neilix suffered this season's first player to be put in IR (Holmes), and I can't find a defense to save my life. Good times!!! Finances have been updated :)

The draft is just two nights away! Tuesday night at 9:30 pm ET. The financial report has been updated.
Reminder that tonight, Sunday September 2 at 9:30 pm ET begins the 48 hour window in which you can drop players not on an NFL roster for no cap penalties. I would ask that everyone please do this prior to the draft so I have time to record the information for the league and update this site. Preferably at least an hour before the draft.

Welcome back! This is the initial status report for the 2012 season which is our third season. What makes this season interesting is we're seeing great deal of our players enter their final year of their initial 3 year deals. We also have Homerun's team to transfer ownership to. Finding a new owner is in the works.
A delayed and much deserved GRATZ to AC for winning the league... AGAIN. Not bitter at all. Not one bit. &#$ @#$@@*@ !@#!#$ !@# !#! !#.... hehe
Finances have been updated.
Important dates have been updated.
Hall of Fame updated.
Charter, for once, not updated! Looks like we've finally got a stable charter. Huzzah!
More to come as I get more to toss your way.

September 20, 2011 - Status Report
The financials have been updated. Moves have been made. It looks like we're starting to see the beauty of dynasty league action coming into play now. Expect an owners meeting week 4 to spur on more trade talks and discuss potential roster expansion for next season. Do we add an additional roster spot?
September 7, 2011 - Status Report
Here be the results from tonight's draft. Had a blast! We will probably keep that format for next season.
September 6, 2011 - Status Report
I've created my own list of free agents to work with and thought I would share with everyone in case they're noobs :)
They are listed in no specific order.
September 3, 2011 - Status Report
Homerun has accepted the offer and has assumed Odie's team. Welcome the Homeruns Heroes.
In other news the draft is FOUR DAYS AWAY!!!! Get your teams in gear, people. I've updated the Financials so have a look. Also, here's the latest cap numbers. I've also deleted the Rosters page. Too much work to duplicate the same info in the Financials section.
August 31, 2011 - Status Report
The draft time has been pushed back 30 minutes to try and make it more friendly for those on east coast time. 10pm ET on Wednesday September 7th.
We still have one team without an owner. I have some feelers out. Sooth has declined my invite. So, we'll see who jumps in.
Quick-hit list of FAQ's for the Draft
Q: What if I don't have any cap space come the draft?
A: You're fucked.
Q: What if I don't have any roster spots freed up when the draft starts?
A: You're fucked.
Q: When and where will the draft take place?
A: Wednesday night September 7th at 10:00pm ET on teamspeak. Look for me in the Fantasy Draft Room under Strategy Central.
Q: How will I know what players are available to be drafted?
A: The rosters are posted on my website http://ddl.kudravi.net go there and get informed on the current state of the league. Any player not listed on this league roster is available. For information on who's not on this roster please start watching NCAA football and the NFL :)
Q: How will the draft actually unfold?
A: My guess is a bunch of us will be noobs and try and bid on Tom Brady or something and drav will have to constantly tell them they are on someone's team already. If that doesn't happen then it should go like this :)
Someone will nominate a player for bid and the initial bid will be $1.00. From there we just begin bidding until no one wants to bid. Whoever had the last bid in will get that player. The action is final. There is no wait. If you make a bid you make a bid. No retractions. The commish has the authority to modify this at anytime though. You never know what craziness may happen. We will continue doing this until all the roster spots have been filled.
Q: Can I leave the draft with an empty roster spot?
A: No. To expand upon that more you will not be permitted to join the draft if you have no cap space. You will have an empty roster spot and at least $1.00 in cap space to participate in the draft. You may attend to listen no matter what.
Q: Can trades be made during the draft?
A: Yes.
Q: When will I see my roster in Yahoo?
A: As soon as the draft is finished drav will populate all the rosters manually. It's a feature of Yahoo for leagues that do an offline draft such as a draft party. The commish will then log in and submit the results. The results will be posted and ready prior to my going to bed.
Q: What will be the draft order?
A:
1: Neilix
2: Gandon
3: Yomm
4: (TBD)
5: Arragoth
6: Pale
7: drav
8: Cylo
9: Fengald
10: AC
Q: What does the order really mean?
A: It simply means that person gets to start the bidding on a player of their choosing. Where this comes into play is on players who's final value will be $1.00 since the likelihood of someone bidding against you is slim you will want to be the one who first bids. For example I bid on Colt McCoy last season. I started the bidding at $1.00 and no one bid against him. If someone did I would have had to have now paid at least $3.00 for him so having that initial bid can be a big deal.
August 18, 2011 - Status Report
Greetings, owners. We have a charter update. In this update I've clarified the formula for extending contracts beyond 3 seasons (thanks Cylo) and what may come to be known as the Fengald rule. Players signed to fill the spot of a player placed on IR will be signed to a contract which terminates at the end of that specific season. I've also added a roster section. Feel free to check it out.
Summary of Changes
Ø Version changed from 3.1.1 to 3.1.2.
Ø Modified: Players who are drafted are signed to a 3 year deal for a static annual salary. After three years an owner may re-sign the player for another season at a contract value of the previous season’s salary + $5.00 more. There is no limit on how many times to you can re-sign a player.
o The formula for extending a contract is (previous season’s salary) + $5.00.
o Example. Player A signed for 3 years at $5.00 a season. After three seasons the owner elects to re-sign the player for $10.00. After four seasons the owner decides to re-sign the player again this time for $15.00.
Ø Modified: Players that were signed to fill a vacant roster spot due to IR will be signed for a 1 year contract which terminates at the end of that season. As a result the owner will not incur a penalty for dropping the player as they will have played out their contract.

Greetings and welcome back to another season of the DDL. We've had some changes this year and some fumbles on your commissioner's part. The fumble was not keeping the league as active as I'd like to have in the off-season. For that I am sorry. I will do my best to correct that. My only excuse was the potential NFL season not happening which was a concern for a few months. Anyways! The changes are to the charter which can be found here. We also have three owners leaving the DDL; Laywn, Odie and Snow. Gandon has assumed one team and offers have been extended to two other SG'ers.
The draft for the 2011 season has been set to September 7th at 10:30pm ET (time subject to change).
The latest league information will be uploaded once I get the final two teams in place. The numbers have not changed since last season. Check out the finances section.
I would also like to say sorry to AC for not doing this on the website sooner!
Gratz man on an excellent season. I hope this league can last 10+ years and you'll be the first to have won. Gratz again.
If interested, here's a smaller image to use as your yahoo avatar for the league just to annoy us all.

December 20, 2010 - MNF
Well it appears that the Monday Night Football game will once again play a significant role in the outcome of our weekly machups. Frodo's Fail is clinging to an 11 point lead over the Rebellion. Robbie Gould starts for the Fail while Greg Olsen starts for the Rebellion. If you're pulling for the Fail just hope Cutler doesn't hit Olsen tonight. If you're looking for the Rebellion to pull the victory in spite of their absence of a starting QB look for Olsen to grab lots of yardage to overcome the extra point that Gould will grab each time Olsen hits the endzone. Should be a good one tonight in Minnesota!
December 4, 2010 - Weekly Report, Week 13
News
The Finances have been updated to reflect the final week of waiver moves. Our teams are set until the end of the season. All teams are now set in stone until the league championship is over. Speaking of the championship the playoffs are now set. All four teams who were fighting for the three remaining playoff spots lost. I still find that incredible. The team on the losing losing end of that deal is the Frozen North. Francophiliacs and the Rebellion will take week 14 off as the Crusaders (4) battle Breadpudding (5) and Frodo (3) takes on Golden Boys (6). Let the first ever DDL playoffs begin!
Onto the goods.
Matchup of the Week
Week 13's matchup of the week award goes to the Rebellion vs. Fail. This was a battle for the Southern division and the Minmatar Rebellion held their ground. It was a close fight 123 to 113 and the 10 point win earned the Rebellion a bye week.
Team of the Week Award
Week 13's Team of the Week Award belongs to the Francophilliacs. AC's squad compiled 153.5 points on the shoulders of two big performances from Aaron Rodgers (32.0) and Reggie Wayne (36.0),
Weekly MVP Award
Week 13's MVP goes to Tom Brady of Frodo's Fail. Brady tore up the Jets on MNF earning 40 points for Fengald.
December 2, 2010 - Arrrrggg.
It looks like when I was working some of the scenarios for the playoffs the week got switched to last week and my scenarios are not all correct. The moment has passed and I'm not redoing the math! We'll just wait and see what happens.
November 30, 2010 - Weekly Report, Week 12
News
Week 12 is over and we're down to the last week of the regular season. The trading deadline has come and gone. NO MORE free agent moves will be allowed after this weekend is over. Rosters are FROZEN as of December 7th which really means this coming Thursday since Thursday is the last day you can submit a contract offer.
The playoffs are just two weeks away and this week will determine who gets the final three remaining playoff spots. Let's take a look at one of my favorite things ever; playoff scenarios!
Currently Francophiliacs lead the Northern division on the back of a 2 game winning streak and solidified a playoff spot. Both the Rebellion and Frodo's Fail have clinched in the Southern division. This leaves 3 playoffs spots remaining with 4 teams mathematically alive; Crusaders, Golden Boys, Frozen North and Breadpudding. Let's see what will have to happen for each to get in. I am not factoring in ties. They would make this a lot longer.
Francophiliacs
1) Already clinched a playoff spot.
2) Win and they clinch the North.
3) Lose and the Crusaders lose they clinch the division.
Dravidian Crusaders
1) They win they're in. 8-5-0 will clinch a spot for them.
2) Win and Francophiliac's lose the Crusaders win the North based on divisional record of 4-4 vs. AC's 3-4.
3) Lose and the Golden Boys lose they're in.
4) Lose and a win from the Golden Boys and North and a loss from Breadpudding would cause a tie between Breadpudding and Crusaders. The tie breaker being points for. Currently going into week 13 the Crusaders have a 107.5 point lead and would have to be outscored by Pale's team by that much.
Golden Boys
1) Win and they're in. 7-6, even with a Frozen North win they're in based on divisional record.
2) Lose and a Frozen North loss get's them in.
Frozen North
1) Win and they're in. They will be tied with the Crusaders at 7-6-0 but have the better divisional record.
2) Lose and they're out.
Okay, I quit. There's a clusterfuck waiting to happen... lol
If the Crusaders lose to the North, Breadpudding loses to Frodo's Fail and the Golden Boys defeat Southern Charm we'll have a four-way tie for the remaining three spots spanning two divisions. Yahoo doesn't go into details on a situation like this. They have tie breakers for ties in a division and for ties between divisions. I THINK in the event of a very possible four-way tie the top three teams based on points for would go to the playoffs. My brain hurts.
Onto the awards!
Matchup of the Week
Week 12's mathup of the week goes to the most unlikely matchup of the Saints vs. the Rebellion. What looked to be a sure thing going into Monday nights Cards 9'ers game with the Rebellion having both Fitzgerald and Gore going turned out to be a near miss by the Southern division leaders winning by only 4 points. Gore is now out for the season and the Rebellion will most likely look to Felix Jones to fill in at the W/R/T position.
Team of the Week Award
Week 12's award goes to Frodo's Fail which came on the backs of two monster performances from Tom Brady (40 pts) and Peyton Hillis (43 pts). Peyton Hillis also saved 4 babies from burning buildings and built a better mouse trap for mankind.
Weekly MVP Award
This week's player of the week award for week 12 belongs to Crusader's WR Dwayne Bowe and his 44.5 point performance putting up 170 yards and three touchdowns off 13 receptions. This is the third straight week with over 100 yards and multiple touchdowns.

Week 11 Scores
Matchup of the Week
Week 11 had quite the epic battle which has made our Matchup of the Week. Minmatar Rebellion fell to the Francophiliacs 158 to 141. There is a three-way tie in the Southern division and Acadian's Francophiliacs has claimed ownership of the North. Acadian received huge performances from his QB Rogers (41 pts) and 32 points from their Defense.
Team of the Week Award
Week 11's award goes to the Golden Boys who's 164 point performance was fueled by a huge game from their WR Jennings (39.5).
Weekly MVP Award
This week's award belongs to Aaron Rogers with his 41 point performance against the crappy Vikings!

November 2, 2010 - Weekly Report, Week 8

Week 8 Scores
Matchup of the Week
Week 8 featured an epic battle in the Northern division between the Francophiliacs and the Crusaders. The Dravidian Crusaders were on a 5 game winning streak and had just claimed the top spot in the North division. Francophiliac's and the Crusaders had an epic battle that stretched to the very end of the MNF game. With the Francophiliacs bringing two of their big guns Wayne and Johnson to battle against the Crusader's newest tight end Tamme the battle featured lead changes and an eventual win by Francophiliacs. There are three teams in the North tied at 5-3 after this week.

Weekly MVP Award

October 26, 2010 - Weekly Report, Week 7
News
Week 7 is over and 70% of the league has a winning record. The DDL is quite the epic battle ground. We've also seen some major injuries this week as Dallas Clark, Romo and Favre all are injured. Dallas is shut down for the season. Romo might miss 6-8 weeks but if the Cowboys are totally out of it when he's able to return they may just rest him for the rest of the season. Favre has 2 fractures in his ankle and should miss time. But you know that dope he might try and play.
Week 7 Scores
Matchup of the Week
Week 7's matchup of the week belongs to the Frozen North's victory over the Francophiliacs 132 to 120.50. Despite a big performance from Nicks the Frozen North were able to muster a win with an equally solid performance from their QB Eli Manning. The North pull themselves out of .500 and into a winning record.
Team of the Week Award
Week 7's team of the week award goes to Breadpudding. The Falcons decided to come to play and as a result Pale earned over 140 points. About half of which came from Roddie White and Matty Ice alone. Gratz.
Weekly MVP Award
Week7 's MVP award goes to RB Darren McFadden of the Odie's Saints. McFadden put in a huge 47 point performance.
October 19, 2010 - Weekly Report, Week 6

Week 6 Scores
Matchup of the Week
Week 6's matchup of the week belongs to the Golden Boys upset of the Francophiliacs 144.50 to 135.00. Francophiliacs went into Monday night up by just under 30 points and via their kicker Bironas and the league's highest paid player Chris Johnson they compiled enough points to pull off the upset. Gratz.
Team of the Week Award
Week 6's Team of the Week Award goes the Golden Boys for their 144.50 point performance against Francophiliacs. Big performances from the league's top two running backs Foster and Johnson helped compile their second win of the season.

October 12, 2010 - Weekly Report, Week 5
News
We have an owner who now stands alone atop the DDL. Let's have a collective BOOOO for Acadian and his Francophiliacs as they stand 4-1. They are 1-1 in the North division and on a 2 game winning streak.
Week 5 Scores
Matchup of the Week
Week 5's matchup of the week focuses on the Crusaders win over the Southern Charm. The Crusaders were down a good amount of points going into the Monday night game. Their defense (Patriots) were on a bye, their backup was let go earlier in the season and they had only the hope that LT would show up big. LT had a solid game but the savior was Jets kicker Nick Folk with a 19 point performance. Gratz Folk. You must be living the high life!
Team of the Week Award
Week 5's Team of the Week Award goes to ... Francophiliacs with 150 points. With huge performances from Hakeem Nicks, Michael Bush and Michael Turner Breadpudding got slaughtered.
Weekly MVP Award
We have a split MVP award for week 5. Francophiliac's wide receiver Hakeem Nicks and the Saints' Malcom Floyd wide-out both brought in 34 points. Matt Forte also earned 34 but was riding the pine on Acadian's bench.

October 5, 2010 - Weekly Report, Week 4
News
The Charter has been updated to reflect some changes to free agent transaction rules and a disclaimer addition. All information on the changes from version 3.0.0 to 3.1.0 are listed in the front of the document.
Week 4 has seen the beginning of two winning streaks as the Bree-land Kings and the Dravidian Crusaders won their second consecutive game. Week 4 also saw a spark in free agent movement. Dustin Keller was signed by the Golden Boys for $6 and netted him 16 points his first start. Not many would have predicted that Kyle Orton would be signed to replace a cut Tony Romo but it happened when Francophiliacs made the move. Acadian also drop the Housh for Aaron Hernandez.
Week 4 Scores
Matchup of the Week
Week 4's matchup of the week focuses on the Crusaders comeback win over the Saints. Down by about 20 points going into the MNF game the Crusaders had Brandon Marshall and the New England DEF going. Hoping for a slightly above average performance from Marshall the Crusaders got a 50% reduction in points from their #1 WR. The surprise came from the New England DEF who were averaging just over 10 points and scored 39 points for the Crusaders adding to the somewhat one-sided victory over the Saints 141 to 115.
Team of the Week Award
Week 4 's Team of the Week Award goes to the Dravidian Crusaders. The Crusaders scored 141 points against the Saints on the back of a 39 point performance from this week's MVP the Pats DEF. The Crusaders also had a major contribution from Terrell Owens 222 yard 1td performance off 10 receptions as well as Mendenhall's 20 point game against the Ravens.
Weekly MVP Award
Week 4's MVP award goes to the New England DEF for their 39 point performance against the Miami Dolphins on MNF. Multiple interceptions, blocked field goals and turnovers returned for touchdowns all while holding the Dolphins to 14 points lead to one of the seasons highest defensive performances.
September 28, 2010 - Weekly Report, Week 3
News
We have seen the fall of every team at least once with the passing of this weekend's games. No team remains undefeated though one remains win-less. Southern Charm who interestingly enough has the 5th highest point total so far has no wins to speak of.
Week 3 Scores
Crusaders over the Frozen North 126 to 74.
The Saints squeak by Southern Charm 123.5 to 120.
The Rebellion defeat the Golden Boys 165.50 to 137.50.
Acadian's Francophiliacs got beaten by the Kings 140 to 131.
Frodo's Fail took a bite out of Breadpudding 136.50 to 116.
Matchup of the Week
Going into the MNF game both the Saints and Charm had one of their starting WR's in play. With Southern Charm behind 4 points to the Saints Yomm needed Johnny Knox to out perform Driver by about a touchdown. It was not meant to be. Yomm's squad falls to 0-3 as Driver's 9 reception 61 yard performance was enough to fend off Yomm's attack. Gratz Odie.
Team of the Week Award
Week 3's Team of the Week Award goes once again to the Minmatar Rebellion and team owner Cylo. The Rebellion scored a week high 165.50 points which included a massive 3 touchdown performance from WR Anquan Boldin.
Weekly MVP Award
Week 3's MVP award goes to WR Anquan Boldin of the Minmatar Rebellion. Anquan had 142 yards off 8 receptions scoring 3 times for a total of 39 fantasy points.

The Charter has been updated to version 3.0.0. This charter update is significant. It shows some major changes in waivers and free agent rules due to the fact Yahoo.com's system appears to be flawed. Yahoo has not returned my emails on the subject either. The charter changes are listed in the beginning so you don't have to read it all if you don't want to.
I've updated the Finances to reflect the moves that have been made.

Frozen North remains hot beating Bree-land 121.50 to 119.50
Odie falls to his neighbor to the east Pudding 121.50 to 109.50
Francofiliacs beat Southern Charm 156.00 to 100.50
The Rebellion beat up Frodo 120.50 to 162.50
Matchup of the Week
Week 2's Matchup of the Week belongs to the Frozen North vs. Bree-land Kings. Going into the MNF game Johnsnow's team was down 19.50 points with Colston and Pierre Thomas still remaining. With the pair of starters actually under performing for the game he still managed to pull out a win. Anytime the MNF game has a significant impact on one of our games makes it that much more enjoyable to watch. Week 3 has Packers / Bears and should be quite the fantasy-fest.
Team of the Week Award
Week 2's Team of the Week award goes to Cylo and the Minmatar Rebellion. With their 162.50 point victory over Fengald's Frodo's Fail. Huge performances from McNabb, LeSean McCoy and Frank Gore proved to be overkill.
Weekly MVP Award
Week 2's Weekly MVP Award goes to Jahvid Best... wait no he wasn't started. Okay the next highest total was the Steelers Defense. Wait, Cylo benched them. The award goes to Jason Snelling... wait he was a free agent at the time. Next in line is Matt Schaud... benched by Fengald!
FOUND ONE! Week 2's MPV Award goes to ... LeSean McCoy of the Minmatar Rebellion. With his 35 point performance he helped propel the Rebellion to a crushing win over Frodo's Fail.
Commentary
Javid Best was traded from the Crusaders to Southern Charm for Big Ben. Big Ben at $1 can't be looked at as a bad move but with Best just putting in a huge 47.50 point performance in week 2 will it turn out to be bad news for the Crusaders and future glory for the South?

I have updated the Charter to reflect to dropping of the mid-season waiver penalties transferring to the next season's cap.
September 14, 2010 - Weekly Report, Week 1.
Week 1 Scores
Crusaders fall to the Francophiliacs 89.00 to 106.00.
Frozen North defeats the Golden Boys 168.50 to 114.50.
Bree-land Kings take out the Saints 104 to 99.
Frodo's Fail was victorious against Southern Charm 71 to 78.5.
And in the most interesting match up the Rebellion and Breadpudding tied 114.5 all.
Matchup of the Week.
Recapping the game between Cylo and Pale we see that it's a story of Cylo's consistency vs. Pale's swinging for the fences that lead to this tie. The Minmatar Rebellion had 7 positions earn double-digit points this week compared to Pale's 4 positions. The balance Pale provided was the huge numbers they put up; Peyton Manning with 38, Roddy White with 20.5, Austin Collie with 27 and MJD with 11.5. What a way to start the season.
Team of the Week Award
This week's award goes to the Frozen North. With 168.5 points the next closet team would have had 114.5 points. Gratz to Mr. Snow.
Weekly MVP Award
Week 1 MVP Award goes to Breadpudding's QB Peyton Manning for his 433 yard, 3 td and no turnover performance against the Minmatar Rebellion. Arian Foster would have been the clear winner but he didn't make a start in the DDL this week. Gratz Pale.
Week 1 Transactions
There were no transactions to report for week 1.
Commentary
Week 1 provided quite the glimpse into the oncoming season. We saw some interesting performances from Matt Forte of Francophiliacs with his 50 rushing yards and 151 yards, 7 receptions and 2 touchdown performance against the Crusaders. Arian Foster though he did not start this week accumulated 231 yards and 3 touchdowns. Peyton Manning won the Week 1 MVP award which is not surprising. We saw an unusual name near the top 10 (12th overall) in MIke Vick. Vick who is currently a free agent took over for Kevin Kolb in the NFL again against the Packers. Kolb was benched by the Rebellion in favor of McNabb. Vick passed for 175 and a td and also rushed for 103 yards. The question is how long will Vick remain a free agent. If Kolb sits another week and Vick puts up the numbers will we see our first waiver battle?

Draft is over. I messed up the salary cap. I do apologize for that. The cap is now $100.00 instead of $200.00.
Waiver bids are in-play. If you go to the PLAYERS option, then add the player you will notice at the bottom of the next screen the following:
I've updated the Finances section.
I've modified each teams Yahoo FAAB.
I've modified the Charter to reflect a few changes with the new cap.
DO NOT FORGET TO SET YOUR STARTING ROSTERS BY THURSDAY!!!

I have added Laywn to the league to replace Sooth. Laywn is a member of our alliance in the LOTRO portal. Though, not exactly SG he is close enough for me and the few others who were online to agree.
Laywn is a good dude and should make a fine addition. He obsesses easily and that's what we need :)
September 5, 2010
Sooth has dropped from the league. I'm working on balancing out the teams.
September 4, 2010
The owners meeting did not see much in attendance. Only owners Palephor and Drav made a showing. They settled on the final charter.

The first Owners Meeting took place this past Saturday. Attending the meeting with the Commissioner and team owner of the Crusaders Drav. Along with Drav was John Snow owner of the Frozen North, Palephor owner of Pale, Yomm owner of Southern Charm and Cylo owner of The OBX. The topic of discussion was the charter. A general topic indeed but it quickly became quite focused on the salary cap. Owners, it's always about the money! The meeting was a huge success. Some significant decisions were made to the rules for dropping players.
- Players cut during the regular season will not have their contracts picked up by another owner for less than the salary they were previously making.
- Waiver acquisitions will be done via silent bids through Yahoo's system.
- Team owners who do not make the playoffs will be permitted to drop players in the off-season without incurring any cap penalties. This is to assist in keeping competitive balance.
The Charter has been updated to version 1.4.0 to reflect the changes.
